CEO Mike Gibbons tells Rotary of success dining industry can offer

When he was a student at Xavier University in Cincinnati in the 1970s, Mr. Gibbons’ parents wanted him to go to law school.

But Mr. Gibbons was working at a seafood restaurant owned by famed Detroit-area restaurateur Chuck Muer. When the late Mr. Muer asked the young man to move to Ann Arbor to help run his new restaurant, the Gandy Dancer, Mr. Gibbons said yes.
